During 2021, Subsea Global Solutions assisted its clients over 4,000 times, attending to more than 2,000 ships globally, undertaking class in-water surveys, propeller polishing, hull cleaning and a wide range of complex underwater repair and maintenance operations. The impact of the pandemic on Subsea Global Solutions business varied between sectors, with traditional cruise maintenance activity slightly reduced, while commercial shipping requirements for its underwater repair and maintenance teams actually increased during the pandemic.

Harun Duzgoren, chief commercial officer, says: "A lot has happened in the year, with the pandemic leading to changes to working environments for us all. Inevitable complications in planning and movement of crew and equipment were met with creativity, resilience and innovative solutions that enabled our risk and safety protocols to ensure our employees and clients remained safe and healthy."
